Rendezvous with Rock/Rap-Rock Songs …

As most of my friends know, I don’t usually listen to English songs. In-fact about 8 months back I didn’t even know what rock bands exists or even who are the famous singers, leaving a few – thanks to all the DJ nights I had attended. But one day I saw a video and suddenly I started liking those songs which earlier irritated me. Here is my first account with the world of Rock/Rap-Rock songs.

It was 2^nd day of the 9 days sem-break after 3^rd sem. I was sitting in my room with low fever, alone, and all of my friends went out for dinner. I was already frustrated regarding some personal problems, and the fever in holidays added to it. I was just browsing through some Metacafe videos, when I found this one. This video was about a rider, in-fact about a ride of the rider, the ultimate ride. The rider was shown riding his bike as fast as he could, through the highways to the main streets, through one-ways overtaking all the vehicles he came across … not giving a damn to the rules, not caring about even risking his life. He was shown driving the vehicle to the extreme. Don’t know how but I somehow got this feeling that this rider was frustrated of everything, or had faced failure somewhere that he desired passionately, and that he didn’t get the result for how much he tried. So, now there he goes breaking all the rules, all the boundations, risking his life to achieve that what he wanted, to go par his capabilities … having no one to stop him, to achieve that one ride … the Ultimate Ride. Later, after doing all that he wanted to do, his hands loosen from the handle, he relaxes his body … bike still going above 200 kmph … he raises his hands towards the sky … loses his balance, the bike shakes, falls, skids … the rider hits ground cracking his helmet along with his bones, bounces and hit again … and then … there is blood all over …

Throughout this video there was one song being played …

The video and the lyrics affected me so much that I listened to the song a 100 times in those 9 days … and from there started my journey to the genre of English songs.

The Proposal!!!

Interesting title …Right guys!!! Everyone, whome I consider to be normal [;)], must have thought about How will he propose a girl…..

When someone falls in Love it feels like flying … and he jumps from the top hoping that he will fly … but he falls and falls … and then he thinks why the hell did he jump. Here I am falling …. and there is only one person who can make me fly and that’s you Sara….

Awsome dialog (again from “Hitch”)…. When I saw this scene in which Will Smith proposes Eva Mendes. It was just marvelous … any girl will say yes on such a proposal. I am no different from any other Guy … I have also fantacised about how will I propose a girl … In fact I actually proposed a girl once .. Let me narrate you THE Incidence….

I was in my 10th class … The day started as any other day . I went to school … took the seat behind her … and started chatting with her and I came to know its her birthday the next day . I asked her if she wanted a gift .. but she refused . I didnt have any intensions like that until my friends took me to the seventh sky . Every one was saying ” This is the time man …” , ” … pata nahi is saal ke baad sab alag alag ho jayenge, phir kon kahan jaye …” and I did exactly what they wanted me to do . While returning from school I went to a gift shop … I didnt have much money so I just bought a card for her [It took me an hour and a half to select that card]. Now the easy part was done , the main concern was how to take that card home … My friend told me he will take the card and bring it next day in the class, I agreed. The day was looking to be the longest day of my life, the only thing running in my mind was what will I say when I will give her the card. All the proposals that I had seen in movies went through my mind that day. Also I was not satisfied by just a card so I decided that I myself will make something for her . I searched a hell lot in my drawing books to get a nice sketch and finally ended up with a red rose . The next day I and my friend reached school early …. I put that rose in the card . When she came I went to wish her and give her the card … I cant explain what my feelings at that time were, It was kind of excitement mixed with a little proud and a hell lot of fear . I wished her Happy B’day gave her the card …. and … I forgot everything I thought I would say … I just said there is something special in this card and came back. My friend was too curious to know … and was disappointed when I told him what happened .

After that …. she never talked to me …. and neither did I troubled her more . She changed her school after 10th [think her father got transferred]. and I ne’er saw her again .

All in all it was a great experience … now I laugh at those moments … how I was searching a card for an hour and a half … how I drew the rose and fought with my sister to use her crayons to colour that … how stupid I was that I went to propose a girl and came back without saying a word . All moments are just unforgettable …. But here I also want to apologize to the girl “where ever you are I just want to say sorry for how much I troubled you .”

This was my first experience of proposing a girl …. I would love to hear some more interesting experiences from my friends also … So here I tag these people to write a post on the same topic (In case you didnt proposed any girl yet just write how WILL you) .
